Allow me to add multiple copays for an insurance plan. Sometimes the copays are different for in-person vs telehealth, or individual vs. family sessions and we need to charge the client correctly.
This feature would be so helpful for clients that have different copays for group, individual, and telehealth service types.
Please allow us to set a certain copay for certain service types.
There needs to be a Telehealth Copay section when entering the Insurance(s). A lot of insurance companies have a different copay for telehealth. This copay should be linked automatically to the appointment when Telehealth is chosen. This amount should also show on the calendar when telehealth is chosen just like it does for the office copay. Telehealth has been around for a while and it is not going anywhere, anytime soon.
Going into insurance information to edit the copay for different services is very unwieldy and a waste of time. I have been with Theranest since 2016 and it is frustrating that this still has not been fixed. Please make this a priority asap.
Many of my clients have benefits that include a certain number of mental health appointments with no co-pay, and after a set amount of appointments (usually 6 -8), a co-pay amount kicks in. Being able to indicate this somewhere in the insurance benefits would be hugely helpful!
It would be extremely helpful to be able to assign different copay/coinsurance amounts to different service types in each client's Bill To & Insurance section. We have many clients who have a copay for one type of therapy, but no copay for another. Or, their coinsurance amount differs depending on the service type and number of units billed. Because their member cost-share differs from day to day, or week to week, there is a lot of manual work involved when it comes to billing and processing ERAs. If Theranest had this feature, our practice would be able to utilize the batch payments feature instead of having to go in to each client's profile and process their payments individually.
We have patients who have very different benefits for different aspects of treatment -- example, occupational therapy is covered under medical benefits versus mental health, so has different copays/deductibles - so we need to be able to enter that differently for different types of services -- or for their intensive outpatient program, different benefit levels -- this needs to be a feature
