There are therapists who need to have full organizational access and who also need to have a supervisor in the system for licensing purposes. Currently this is not a possible configuration in theranest which is a major limitation.
Someone with Organization Administration should also be able to select under green therapist (notes require supervisor signature) because an owner of a company, may also still be under supervision.
In our practice, we have multiple people who provide direct and indirect services. It would be helpful to allow someone to have administrative options to manage indirect issues like billing, scheduling, etc., but still have an option for their direct service notes to be sent to a supervisor. Currently, if someone's permissions are marked for administration, you cannot select that their notes require supervisory review.
Agreed- this is very frustrating when I have a therapist who does some admin work and needs access, but is not a senior counselor and therefore still needs a supervisor to review her notes
The current setting create a conflict between staff who require supervisory oversight and the ability to access case files they are not assigned to. We should be able to grant staff permission to access and assign themselves to cases without selected the admin permissions, or the admin permissions should not override the ability to have notes require supervisory review. Please separate these so we can have our therapists access case files without an administrator having to assign them.
A lot of times, Interns will have those admin privileges because of other non-Client related matters as part of their training.
My interns need both clinical and non-clinical hours to graduate.
I figured out how to have full access and to have a supervisor! I created two staff member accounts under my original log in as admin for myself. I added Ms. and my middle name to make my names different enough to allow, and I used a different email (personal vs. work). By doing this I am able to have all the admin perks, while having a therapist account accessible at the same time.
We have a similar problem--our intake staff need administrative privileges to create case files, etc, but also need clinical supervision...and supervisors should not have to have admin privileges to review progress notes for such supervisees...
YES!!! This is a major barrier for us right now. Our therapist intern also does our admin work and I cannot sign off on her notes. The only solution I can come up with quickly is creating another 'admin" staff account so I can sign off on her notes. It is going to be very inconvenient because she will have to switch back and forth between logging into her therapy staff acct and logging into the admin staff acct. Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated!!
