Offer EAP as insurance option

Could you add Employee Assistance Programs as an Insurance Option and allow the number of sessions completed with the number of sessions covered (eg 1/5) to show where the copay would normally show? Perhaps a flag could appear on the final visit prompting the therapist to complete paperwork and provide referrals on the final session?

Adding EAP (employee assistance program) insurance and billing options with the provider having the ability to add the amount of sessions approved because they vary with each company.

I would like to suggest an additional option when adding a new insurance. We currently have the option to add an insurance & indicate if it is primary, secondary, etc. What I think would reduce confusion on our end (and also simplify the process in some cases) is if there were a specific option to indicate the insurance is an EAP (therefore, preceding primary without having to actually occupy the primary's spot). If it could "count" the visits or expire on the closing date, all the better but right now I am having to list mine as primary in order to keep the claims directed to the EAP company which can create confusion when the EAPs are temporary & sporadic between primary claims,& all the more so when there is a secondary insurance involved as well. Also in that vein, when insurance changes, previous primary insurance claims may remain outstanding or old visits that have not been billed somehow sometimes occassionally need to be submitted after a current policy has already come into effect. When that happens, I typically denote the previous primary as "secondary" . However, in the case that this year's deductible has not been met, TheraNest system will sometimes see it sent straight to the listed secondary insurance. Which in these instances, is not what should happen. If you could find a way to allow us to keep these insurance listed, to be filed in their proper order it would make training new people ever so much easier! Thank you for your time & consideration, Vanessa Morgan
