Additional optional screening tool availability to use as clinically appropriate - Life Events Checklist, PCL-5 for trauma, Mood Disorder Questionnaire, the Columbia for suicide, etc.
These lower liability for clinician if more accessible and chartable for the record and help maintain consistency throughout treatment to track progress.
Include various assessment/screening tools to facilitate performance of assessments. There are several that other clinicians and I use, but these are a few not already included, to the best of my knowledge.
I would love to see these as a form that could be sent to a client, or be completed manually by the clinician with the client in session via the clinicians portal.
Is there any movement toward this? Andrew- are you willing to share your forms? Melinda- a graph would be great! Given the insurance industry pressing for outcome measures, this seems like something Theranest should be offering!
Until this is completed, I've been using periodic free time to add 'custom forms' to create questionnaires such as PHQ - DSM Level x Screeners, etc. Time consuming yes, but then I am able to send the forms anytime to an individual.
It would be ideal to have screening measures in the system that we could send to clients to complete ahead of appointments. If these measures could be saved in a graph format, we can show patients, as well as insurance companies, how they are doing. Many of us use these measures in hard copy and have to add the information into notes, but this would be a much more effective and efficient way to notate as well as serve our clients.
