Auto-format fields (dates, State, phone number etc.)

It would be great if there was uniformity in format for all the date fields to preopulate the slashes. Like the eligiblity date on the insurance screen requires slashes but you should be able to just enter MMDDYYYY like so many other screens.

Seems like a small easy fix to an annoying problem! Would be a great update.

Only allow 2 characters for the state field. Clients in the client portal or new staff type in the entire state name which results in an error with claim submission.

When clients enter their address on client portal, instead of having them type the whole state, please allow 2 digit shortened version be the only option. When client type the whole state, that information automatically carried into billing. But when we try to bill, it gives an error stating the state is wrong and we keep having to go back to client detail page and shorten the state.

The State field in client details needs to be 2 characters for billing, but allows for anything to be written, including when client fills in info through portal. It might be better to make it choose from pull down state list with appropriate 2 character abbreviations.

When patient's put in their address in the portal they are allowed to spell out the state. When I try to bill for their visits I get an error stating that only 2 letters are allowed for the state field. Can you just make it so they can only enter the 2 letter abbreviation for their state?

Indicate to clients that the state must be entered in as 2 letters, vs written out. I freqently have to correct this simple error when ready to submit claims. Thank you!

I would be helpful if fields which require a specific format automatically formatted. Example: DOB: 11051983 becomes 11/05/1093 when I tab out of the field.

Can you please limit the letters that can be entered here / or make it a pull down menu to prevent this error message from occurring - "Following fields missing or invalid on client details: The State length must be 2 characters"

Uniformity among the phone fields would be great, such that the household members' phone fields auto-format as do the client phone fields.

When submitting claims for our intakes, we receive an error that the length of the state must be just two characters. Is there a way that you can fix this in your system. If I am not mistaken, this is taken from the demographic section of the portal not our own personalized intakes, correct? Is there a way to just allow two characters or have a list to select from. It is just a minor inconvenience but seems like such a simple fix. Thank you,

I AGREE! A drop down menu of available state abbreviations would save so much time. Clients use 2 character state names everywhere but spell it out in the insurance section.

For most websites if I type 8/9 and tab over, the date field automatically updates to 08/09/2019. It's the difference between hitting the keyboard 3 times vs 10 times to type out the full date. It's easier to use the mouse than type out a full date. But it's easier to tab over and type 8/9 than grab the mouse.

I entered a client's birthday in their Client Details as 1/31/91 and it kicks back for improper formatting. My biggest drawback on Theranest is that all dates have to be in the FULL format, which seems a bit silly. We should be able to entered the shortened form, and if the system needs to format it differently, it should do so automatically. I really feel this issue needs to be fixed across the entire Theranest platform, as dates must be in full 00/00/0000 format in order to save.

When entering date in any section of TN please make it so we don't have to enter the back slashes. It is quicker and more efficient.

This is one of the most common data entry problems that clients make and that we need to manually correct. Adding a Data Validation rule that requires a two-letter abbreviation or a drop-down list with the all the possible correct state and territories abbreviations would prevent this.

I get errors when I try to submit billing if the state in the client details or billing section is not the abbreviated version. My suggestion is to shorten the field to 2 spaces so it is not possible to spell out the state. For example if someone enters Colorado it shows as an error in billing so shorten it to only accept CO. Thank you!!!!!

In the phone fields, it would be helpful for the phone field to autoformat, (because ease of use means not having to type in dashes :D)

When entering date of births under client details, it is burdensome to have to add backslashes between month, day, and year (i.e. 12/01/2001). It would be much easier to just enter numbers (i.e. 12012001)
