Allow for multiple intake dates

Allow for multiple intake dates for clients. Some clients may be discharged and then come back for services, but the intake date remains to when they were first entered into the system and we need to capture each time they were brought in for services.

Totally need this to be the case, and it is AWFUL that you have to change it in the Client Details page. If anything, it should be reversed-- the intake date in client details should be reflected based on the date put in the initial assessment.

A client initially started services with in 2020 and returned this year 2023. However the new intake assessment reads 2020. This looks poorly to auditors who are assessing whether the intake assessments were signed in a timely manner. For example, the intake date is 10/01/2020 and the signature date is 03/15/2023. Please revise. Thank you kindly.

When a client has multiple cases with multiple providers, only the initial intake date shows up on all assessments. We need to be able to have multiple intake dates showing on the assessments for each different case. This is presently not possible and presents a big issue with regard to intakes and assessments for multiple separate services. This is very problematic for audits. Please fix it.

Also, the intake date is not consistent with their first appointment. I don't know where Theranest is pulling this front, but appointments get moved around and it needs to show the correct INITIAL date that they were assessed.

It would be helpful to have open and close dates on the export client data. We just had a site survey by the State to renew our license and the surveyor needed the intake dates. The problem that we had on some of the cases was that they had been a previous client that was discharged, but recently came back for services. The "intake date" is the date that the were entered into TheraNest originally, but does not reflect their recent re-admission or actual case status. I tried updating the open date on the case, but that does not change the "intake date" (it was still showing 2017 instead of 2021). We have no way to change the intake date or look for clients from a certain timeframe. To obtain the dates that the surveyor needs, we would have manually search and make a list of the dates to merge with the list of clients that were pulled for review.

Most states require Annual Updates with new or ongoing symptoms, updates to Tx Plan, and updates to diagnosis. We should be able to fill out the assessment form multiple times with the date of the CURRENT assessment. As it is now, I have to go in and add multiple addendums each time a client shows new symptoms or resolves old symptoms and justify my new diagnosis.

The Intake form should default to the first actual intake session date, as that is the standard for how clinicians bill insurance companies and do intakes. Or, we should be able to change the date to represent the contact that represents the actual intake. Right now it defaults to when the case is opened, but the client might not be seen for weeks - a phone call is not an intake session. And the therapist is generally the person who completes the intake document, not the person who briefly speaks to someone on the phone.

I do annual re-assessments on my clients. However, your platform does not allow for a new CCA to be created. Only addendums added. I would like to be able to to a whole new/complete assessment.

Many of our clients are returning clients. When they come back to treatment they need to have a new intake date (for the case). We also need to fully reassess the patient when they return to treatment after a specific period of time.

Many of our clinicians will meet with the same client to assess them for individual therapy as well as our group therapy options. We also sometimes have clients leave treatment and return with the same provider. It would be helpful to be able to create multiple intake notes and save them to the client's account.

There is a need for multiple intake dates, here are a few reasons. 1. If a client is seen by a therapist and stops coming in for sessions then decides to come back several years later.. what if the pervious therapist is no longer at that office. The client will need to see a new therapist and that new therapist will want to do a new intake. 2. If a client was seen by an adolescent therapist and returns years later as an adult that client will need to see a new therapist. 3. After a few years of not seeing a therapist and the returning client has new issues a new intake is then needed. But here's a question. Why in TheraNest is there an option to change the intake date if there isn't an option to do a new intake without it effecting the previous intake?

When clients see multiple therapists, they have multiple Intake Dates. It's important to keep them separate. Also, some clients will come back after time away from therapy, and a new intake is done.

Sometimes clients return to counseling after time off and I do a new initial assessment on them. I'd like to be able to have the current date on the new assessment as it seems fraudulent to have an old date on new material. Thank you for considering.

This feature is a much needed feature. Currently we have two different speciality types of providers and they each have different diagnoses and treatment plans, which makes it necessary for each of them to do an intake. Also for billing purposes we need to do an intake if we are billing an intake so that it is not fraudulant and not having this feature does not allow this to take place.

It would be great if each case could have its own Intake Date, since multiple providers could begin seeing the client on different dates.
