Default client's intake date field to date of first kept appointment

I would suggest the default intake date be the first kept appointment, or at least be able to change the default to that setting. I do not consider the date I put their name into the computer to schedule their first appointment as the intake date. It should be the day they filled everything out, either via the portal or in the office.

I really need the intake date to be changeable. The intake date is not the date the paperwork was returned but the date of the first session. This is causing issues for me. Please change or I will be changing to a new EHR.

I agree. This is such an issue.

Yes, I see our trainees miss this constantly and it's very confusing. Please fix! We've resorted to having all clinicians add the ACTUAL intake appointment date as the first line in the "presenting problem" box on the initial assessment and diagnostic codes tab.

It should read something like Account Created: 1/1/2019 Intake Date: 1/7/2019 (based off of the first kept appointment)

This field absolutely needs to reflect the date of the first appointment, or at the very least, there should be a quick easy way to add the actual intake date ( which we consider the date of the first appointment), NOT the date the client was first entered into Theranest. I just had my yearly audit with our Department of Human Services licensing agent. This is a real issue for us in regard to the accuracy of our client records for licensing. The client's intake date on the assessment absolutely must reflect the date of their first appointment/assesment. This is a huge problem, and is going to cost me hours of staff time to manually review individual client charts and make adjustments. A suggested fix would be to have what is currently the Intake Take be renamed as Date of First Contact or something similar, with another field named Intake/1st Appt. Date so that date is shown accurately on the assessment.

I suggest changing the intake date to reflect the date of the first appointment not when the chart was created. I think adding a "chart created" date would also be very helpful.
