Display CPT modifiers on superbills, statements and invoices

Currently a service code that has a modifier shows up on the invoice screen without the modifier. Only the actual service code is in the "blue" description field. We need to see the modifier on that screen when it exists.

We're excited to let you know this suggestion has been implemented! Today we released an update to all printed billing documents so that they now display CPT code modifiers. These modifiers will be shown on printed invoices, statements, and superbills. We are continuously working to improve TheraNest and we appreciate your feedback on this suggestion! If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to our support team at support@theranest.com.

I'd like to have a way that the modifier can be present when sending a patient a superbill so they can file with insurance. This is an imperative part of the superbill for Telehealth sessions.

I'm not sure why we have modifier codes if they do not reflect on the Superbill. Most insurances will not reimburse clients without it.

agree with all of the comments; modifier code is needed for billing to insurance. this should be pulled in automatically.

Right now, in order for the telehealth add on CPT code to be added automatically onto the super bill, I have to made the CPT code name reflective of that add on. It would be nice for it to pull the entire CPT code I add into the superbill.

It would be nice to see type of session provided on the invoice by seeing the CPT code/description.

Superbills need to include any and all code modifiers. Without them the superbill is useless, especially in cases of difficult-to-approve tele-mental health services. Code modifiers are NOT OPTIONAL. They are a REQUIRED part of a bill and not an extraneous detail that can just be left off. It makes more work on the therapist and patient's end because they must be HANDWRITTEN in or else the claim is rejected. This means the superbill must be printed and then scanned. More steps! In my opinion, the absence of the code modifier on the superbill reflects Theranest's overall lack of understanding of therapy in practice.

I'd like to have a way that the modifier can be present when sending a patient a superbill so they can file with insurance. Some insurances need it if there are multiple services on that day.
