Add ability to duplicate existing appointment and appointment details
It would be helpful to be able to copy a calendar appointment and maybe drag it to another date and time on the calendar, without having to input all the information again.
Sometimes it can be hectic to schedule appointments if you're not keeping up with it as the week goes on. I often end up taking time late in the week to populate all of the appointments for the next week. Some of my clients are variable, some are not.
This Scheduling Assistant would pull your client list, and look for clients w/o a next appointment. Then it would show a window with the first client after finished with each, it would take you to the next. In the window, it shows client information and the time/date/day and service type for the last 4 appointments. Then (ideally) it would pre-populate a copy of the last appointment for the next week. It would also show a snippet of the day's calendar for context. From there, you could check a box/confirm this is correct and hit Next.
This process would allow for rapid rescheduling of many clients without having to rely on time during the week or recurring appointments. Upgrades to this system could include scheduling more than one week at a time, warning of conflicts and assisting in resolutions, and a way to 'Schedule a Day' wherein we could use the above framework, but for a specific day's appointments. As an example, a finishes their day, hits 'Schedule This Day Next Week', it moves forward, client by client *only for the clients on the schedule for this day*.
I would like to see calendar have a mimic function in addition to the recurring appt function. Mimic would differ in that not all clients have recurring appt on the same exact time every week. so if a client is confirming that they are coming back at the same appt for next week then I would like a little button next to the appt of this week to be mimicked on the same slot for next week without me having to turn to next week's page and then create an ppt from scratch.
Even with regular clients I have never been able to use the recurring appt function so far because every week somebody asks to be seen on a different day due to life happening. So I have to do my calendar from scratch every week. If only this little mimic button was right next to each slot box when I do a weekly preview of my schedule and then I can just click on it and that info would mimic itself on my calendar for the week ahead. This would really save me a lot of time.
Thanks!
A copy feature so you don't have to add new clinician name and code. Once you add a visit, you have to go back to the client and go through the whole process again.
We make available appts. on the calendar for support staff. They are not recurring appts. They vary by day and by hour. Copying and pasting an "available appt." would be very helpful.
Not a recurring appointment, but a way to copy and paste an appointment. We have been forced to make an appointment to indicate our availability as clinicians (it does not work for us to use "white space" or unscheduled time as indicative as a clinical opening. I would like to copy an appt. and paste it. Once pasted, it will reflect the new time and date.
I agree with this! We have clients booking their appointments for the whole year (2018) already and I have to add them all one by one. If I could add them all at once, via some sort of overview page, it would be much faster and decrease the likelihood of making mistakes.
I would like a way to ad multiple appointments for a client at once, even when they are not at the same day/time. Currently, I can schedule recurring appointments, but for appointments that change, it's more difficult.
Currently the workflow is:
1. Go to clients
2. Select client
3. Hit the [Schedule Appointment] button
4. Enter the appointment data (Service type, Staff member, Date/time)
5. Save appointment
6. Go back into the client
7. Repeat from step 3.
I feel it would be useful to have the ability to add multiple dates & times as long as it is the same Service type and Staff member. Maybe have a plus sign to the right of the dates and times that adds another line?
This would make workflow much easier for our practice.
