Accept ACH payments from clients

Id like to suggest a feature: incorporating zelle/quickpay as an option on the portal

Can we have an option of doing bank draft instead of credit card. We have spent close to $40,000 in credit card charges

I made this original suggestion/post over 5 years ago! There are now literally dozens of payment processors out there that include ACH along with credit and debit payments. I've been using PaySimple for years and I know that PaySimple has reached out to TheraNest to see if they can integrate their system into TNest. I can't fathom why this very simple feature isn't being added.

I agree! This was promised to me years ago when I joined Theranest. I was told they were "very close" to having this ACH offering. It is very needed.

Our practice currently has about 40% of our clients paying via ACH. The rate for the provider is 1% (rather than a bit less than 3% for CC) which provides our SaaS billing platform with a tremendous margin (their cost is less than 50 cents per transaction) and yet lowers our costs considerably. We are in the 21-day trial of Theranest. But if we were to bring our billing into the "theranest triangle" it would cost us upwards of $10,000 a year EXTRA. In other words, if Theranest adopts ACH (which from a clinic perspective is super-easy), it instantly pays for our Theranest subscription. If they do not, then adopting Theranest and also using our current billing service saves us money but adds a lot of complications and headaches for our clinicians across two separate platforms. This should be a no-brainer for Theranest: make more profit, attract more customers, help your customers save a lot of money. It's 2020. Time to get going with this! It may kill our ability to jump into Theranest if we can't get ACH as part of the package.

Yes! Especially since many of us are working via telehealth, all my clients use CC now vs cash/check, which means there’s been a large increase in CC fees. If there was an option for clients to pay with their checking account, that would have TheraNest surpass many other EHR options out there! I know many therapists who would pick TN over others if this was an option!

I just received an Intuit invoice from my billing agent. With the invoice, I had the choice of using my credit card (which would have cost some percentage of the transaction to my billing agent), or sending funds through EFT. I didn't need her account info (she had preloaded that and I was blind to it). All I had to do was select the account I wanted the money to come from. I have some clients who want to pay invoices with CC, and some who want to pay with checks. It would be handy if they were able to pay remotely (particularly when using TMH - not withstanding the current willingness of insurers to cover any cost share). I would like to suggest it as a feature. Thanks, Jared

Would be great to have the capability to add client's bank account info to withdraw payments in addition to the credit card functionality.

I would love to see you add an option for ACH transfers for client payment. This would incentivize me to utilize your billing system rather than using that of a third party/

I agree and would switch from QuickBooks billing to your service when this is added. Your process rate is about the same as others but overall, if everyone is processing cards and no one is process much less expensive ACH, Theranest ends up being much more expensive overall. Thanks for consider it.
