If a client requests an appointment through the client portal for a future date then have those appointments automatically approved and added to my calendar.
I would like to ask for this to be an option if possible - I have many clients frustrated when I open up my calendar for self-scheduling, that sometimes the appointment they request is no longer available because another client beats them to it, but since I haven't confirmed it yet, the time still shows up as available. Many clients don't trust my calendar and don't use the feature because they assume it will just be a waste of time and we will still have to communicate through e-mail about it.
I would love a feature that would either allow appointments to be automatically approved, or one where when a client requests a time, that time is blocked out on my calendar so no one else can request it.
I rely on the portal heavily and is a primary reason I use theranest, so any issue that creates more of a hassle encourages me to find other options outside of theranest to streamline scheduling.
Some counselors in our practice that are only part-time and not as frequently looking at their emails or Theranest would like for appointment requests through the portal to just automatically approve and schedule on their own.
I'd like to have a setting to auto-approve an appointment as long as it is not scheduled for the same day. So, anything clients schedule for future dates would be approved automatically. If they want to schedule the day of an appointment, that would require approval.
