Please fix the payroll issue and lock it. Also make it viewable to clinicians so they can clearly see what claims are being paid. We just figured out this was a problem a month ago.
Please add payroll reports for specific clinicians to be viewable by clinicians if they have billing permissions and locked as well by the supervisor, allowing any future payments to be applied to the next payroll. This is how SimplePractice operates.
Fix pay rate reporting. We have found out now over two years that TheraNest reporting on Payouts change. The data should be static after the money is collected, but weirdly the report numbers will continue to change.
Yes, please fix this. Several times in the past two months, the payroll person and I have discovered that I processed ERAs on a Monday or Tuesday that had payment dates inside the previous payroll period for which she had already run the payroll report. If we had not accidentally stumbled on this, we would never have realized the potential problem of therapists not getting paid accurately. She works with other payroll software that allow for a lockout to prevent the problem. I wish TheraNest would build a similar system, quickly!
When payroll is complete, there needs to be a way of "locking" payroll so that any unapplied claim money would automatically go into the next payroll period.
This is a serious shortcoming of Theranest. When I finish payroll, I can go into the same payroll period next time and more dollars appear and it shows I owe therapists more money than original payout. I can't continue to go into previous payrolls and find money that should have been paid but wasn't because the unapplied payments were applied during a previous period. I know I've become wordy with this reply but this is a major problem Theranest has and I don't think many practices are aware of this glitch. For me its an integrity issue and it looks like I have shorted my clinicians when that is not my intention.
