Hello, yes, front staff/schedulers should have access to the reminder log without requiring Therapist level access. I trust my staff not tto poke around a client's unncessarily; HOWEVER, per HIPAA and out of respect for our clients we do best to strive to limit potential unnecessary access to PHI. In the spirit of protecting PHI, HIPAA and respect, not all support staff do not need system wide access to perform their job functions AND practice owners should be allowed to determine the level of risk they are comfortable with when it comes to "allowing" such access.
I was just chatting about this with two agents. I don't understand why front desk staff don't have access to a client's reminder log? It doesn't make any sense because it is a key tool when scheduling, cancelling, etc.
Hi, If it were possible to add the Reminders Log as a checkbox on default permissions, it would allow us to have front desk people have access to and use the reminders log.
It would be great if you would give that consideration.
