If NEW CLIENTS are given the client portal link to sign up. It should be mandatory that the intake packet and insurance/credit card info be filled out before being able to schedule. Not doing so defeats the purpose of having a self-service feature for scheduling.
It would be wonderful to have a feature that automatically sends the intake paperwork, provides reminders to complete the paperwork, and does not allow the provider or client to schedule a session until the required initial paperwork is complete.
I would like to have a default setting in TN that would not allow a new client to schedule appointments until all intake docs have been completed. Currently this can only be done on an individual basis.
Agree - we don't want ANY paper which is why we have an EHR. BUT it's not clear in Theranest that they MUST complete the forms. So implement a workflow where it goes, request initial appointment, enter in credit card info to confirm (performs an auth on the card not charge), then direct to intake paperwork (which must be completed prior to appointment). Practices can choose to implement this practice or not.
I highly agree! It's difficult for clients to understand that they need to immediately fill out the paperwork, and if they try to book an appointment at 5pm for early the next day... I often don't have time to confirm their appointment and send the intake paperwork via email. Even if I do have the time, my clients often don't have the time to get to a printer. If they were able to fill out paperwork immediately as they are creating an account, they're more likely to finish it right then because they're already using their device.
Hello,
It would be AMAZING if when a new client creates a login and schedules an initial visit that they would automatically be directed to complete the intake paperwork. I often have clients that book online and then do not complete the paperwork. I have been sending an introductory email out to them, but sometimes they don't get to it or don't complete it. So offering either this option or the option to print blank intake forms from Theranest would be really really helpful.
