Block off non-clinical time on calendar

Allow me to block off recurring or single non-clinical events on my calendar so appointments can't be scheduled during that time. Then, when I create a recurring appointment for a client, have it skip over the days that I'm not available and schedule the appointment anyway.

I am shocked that it’s been 7.5 years and this still hasn’t been done. There are sooooo many issues with the scheduling system that I am looking at switching EHRs. Every single one I’ve used before has had this capability (and many others).

We need non-clinical events to be more obvious in the schedule by changing their color.

Allow schedule to allow for break in the time appointment times (i.e. setting a lunch period throughout the day)

I would like to have a vacation tab so that I can schedule time off in the future and create recurring client appts. I would like to be able to cancel a week for sick time or vacation with one click to send an email to all the people on that week so that they are all informed of the week off and it is HIPPA compliant.

It would be really helpful and far less time consuming when scheduling vacations and the like to be able to have a double booking override box on the appt schedule pop up box like the one for out of normal office hours. The inability to do this is really annoying and sometimes glitchy --- having to refresh the page to get a correct image of what is on the schedule.

I believe that this is a much-needed feature. Also allowing it to have it so that it can notify clients via email, text, or call. Will also be a plus.

I need to be able to block out time on my calendar during the day. If I have an outside meeting or want to schedule a lunch hour. I can't do that right now. I also need to mark when I'm on vacation

Pleaseeeeeeee update this Theranest!! Having to block off non-clinical time as an appointment is very frustrating. If you have clients that have reoccurring appointments, the system considers it at as a "dual appointment" & won't allow you to put in vacation time etc. without deleting that clients appt. This is so critical for me that I am considering alternate EHRs. Something this small should not take years to develop.

A way to schedule vacations and be able to book appointments that a recurring. Vacations would not be marked as busy yet they would automatically not fill in with appointments. There needs to be a sick button so all meeting can be cancelled in one click due to illness.

Perhaps, the system should send notifications to clients when the therapist is on vacation.

Problem #1: Can't schedule an ongoing appointment for a client because eventually I have a day off that day (which I blocked on the calendar via scheduling an all day event/appointment), so when I try to schedule the client an ongoing appointment, it says I can't double book. Problem #2: When the prompt says I can't double book, it doesn't say what the schedule conflict is, so I have to exit the screen and spend time looking months ahead to find where the conflict is. Problem #3: There is no option to over-ride this issue, as needed. Solutions: Is is possible to somehow enable users to block out a random day and still be able to book an ongoing appointment that would otherwise have occurred that day? Instead of just a pop-up stating that the time slot is already booked, what if the pop up also stated what the conflicting appointment is and gave users the option to skip the ongoing appointment that week, or double-book the appointment and go back later to cancel the one 'double booking.'

Yes each therapist should be able to block a vacation or time out of the office for outside appointments or what have you. Currently the only way to do this is to create appointments that are labeled "vacation" and take up the whole day... which shows up as an appointment on the agenda and makes it cumbersome for our admin staff who works with all 14 clinicians schedules.

Would be nice, instead of having to add "Out of office," "Lunch" appointments to cal

A clinician should be able to enter into their calendar when they will be away on vacation. I have searched and I do not see a feature that allows this.

Please create/add feature to calendar which allows you to schedule yourself a lunch break/day off. Otherwise the calendar feature seems almost useless...

Please add an easier option to block off time to schedule time for breaks, lunch or miscellaneous meetings. Have these options in the drop down menu under appointment service options. It really would add structure and support to the daily routine as well as ensure there are built in self-care options for providers.

To shade the times and days that a Therapist is unavailable making it easier to clearly see each days available times to schedule in calendar view. For example, if I work 8am-5pm on Mondays 7am and 6pm should be shaded.

I have two staff members. On the days I work, I take time from noon to 1 where I don't schedule clients. My other staff member does not do this. It would be nice to be able to be able to modify the calendar preferences in more detail that just one start and one end time per day in the preferences. Right now, I block out an on going time slot on the calendar, but this does this for my other staff member too.
