The client search function is very user unfriendly. If the client's name was entered with a middle name, say John Paul Smith, if you search for John Smith you'll get a blank result because the search engine won't recognize the name unless the middle name is included. Weirdly, the search engine will find the name if the first name is omitted but the middle one included.
So a search for Paul Smith would get a hit, even though that's just the middle name and may be a name that's never used.
This means often having to perform multiple searches, or searching by first or last name only and then scrolling through a long list of results. It's also really easy to get confused when there are clients with similar names, like Trevor John Smith and John Paul Smith. A search for John Smith would get a hit on the first option, making it easily possible to think that's the searched for client.
When using the client search field, allow me to search using the client's preferred name and last name. Right now I can only search by the preferred name without their last name but I want to narrow down my results more.
I have been downloading detailed appointment reports to help with my bookkeeping process. The report features the clients "preferred" name, however, the client search option in the theranest interface doesn't support a search using the "preferred" name. I am requesting that either the search results support the preferred name or that the detailed report utilize the clients full name so a name can be copied from the report, pasted into the search window and the correct client is returned.
When searching for clients at the search bar at the top, have clients pop up as you type in order to reduce unnecessary clicks. TheraNest requires too clicks to navigate through the system.
When typing the clients "preferred" name and last name, their name does NOT appear in search. You have to type their "real" name and last name. Please have the search pop up for their preferred name and last name.
Fix the search function in clients its super buggy I have to type out the name multiple times before it shows me a real list of people with those letters
