From a compliance standpoint, we need a superbill that reflects our insurance rate, the amount collected from the patient, the adjustment amount, and a zero balance due.
If we do not process the adjustment as a write off, the superbill will reflect it as a balance due, but if we process the write-off, it changes the billed amount to the amount we collected from the patient. Neither of these options are compliant. We were advised by a TN expert to use the Invoice Footnote to input an explanation, but that doesn't fix the issue, and this would be very time-consuming for each individual patient.
Hi There, We are hoping to use the Superbill feature so clients can submit OON claims themselves but I noticed there are alot of things on the form that are unnecessary and other things we hope to add since we have different locations. I have attached a PDF outlining things we are hoping to change. Please let me know if this is possible and/or if you have questions.
Hi! I would really like to be able to customize the client statement to remove PHI. Most of our clients pay through their client portal, but a few prefer to receive a statement in the mail. It definitely makes me nervous mailing them a statement with their birthdate and other protected information.
Agreed completely - being able to change the formatting (like what information to include, where to include it, etc. like moving client info towards the top instead of at the very bottom, adding signature / credential info at the bottom rather than in boxes, etc.) will be huge. The superbills that come from this system are so clunky and the formatting makes no sense. They are definitely not user friendly in their current form.
