Allow me to process credit cards supplied by insurance companies. We have some payers that pay with single-use credit cards and I'd like to process these cards inside of TheraNest.

Theranest needs to provide a less cumbersome and more accurate way to process insurance credit cards. They should not have to be ran as client payments. When more than one client is included on an insurance credit card payment it is difficult to even process the card.
It would be nice to process credit card payments from insurance payers. Sometimes insurance payers will send these instead of a check. You currently have to do this outside of TheraNest and then manually log the payment. This feature would be very helpful for reporting and workflow purposes.
I need the credit card feature added under insurance payments! Insurance companies are not using checks and prefer virtual CC. Checks are becoming outdated.
Insurance Company sends a temporary credit card to process payment. Right now you have to process under client payment. BUT for our records it is incorrect the payment came from the insurance company not client. We need this correct so we can procress the payment under the insurance company.

Accept credit cards on insurance payments. Some insurances give us a debit card as payment - it would help if TheraNest allowed us to apply to insurance
THIS SEEMS LIKE AN EASY FIX. CONSIDERING THE FEES WE PAY FOR CREDIT CARD PROCESSING, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE WHETHER THEY ARE FROM A COMMERCIAL CARD OR CONSUMER CARD. PLEASE ADDRESS ASAP.
We get several third party payers who process with credit cards. If we can not charge this card we delay payment from the insurance company and client because we have to then request a check payment.
My guess is that in 2021 there will be more third party payers processing this way. Please add a credit card function for insurance.
The TheraNest system has an Insurance Payment Method choice of "Insurance Credit/Debit Card". But when we try to post to it, the error come up and says we have to use an outside source to process these types of payments. Has this payment process been expanded to accommodate the insurance single credit card transactions In TheraNest?
This suggestion was made in October 2018, and it is June, 2020. I would have hoped that more progress would have been made on this suggestion in that 20 months since then. :-(
Yes please, that would be very helpful as it is incredibly time consuming to enter in all the credit card info into a client's account for each payment, and the card numbers/info changes every time. Thanks for looking into this!
I agree that we need the ability to process the virtual credit card payments from insurance companies as insurance payments instead of having to make them look as though they are a client payment. Just adding the note in the invoice about the true nature of the payment is not enough. And no matter how often I explain this situation to clients, some of them remain confused when they see their statements reflecting "client payments" or when they receive the automated email that says "your card has been charged". TheraNest is an awesome platform, support staff are super responsive, and I don't understand why they have not yet made this important change. Perhaps they do not realize how many insurance companies (or the payers that insurance companies use) are making payments via virtual credit cards.
Add credit cards to the list of options of insurance payment types. Some smaller insurance companies are now sending payments via electronic card payment (Herritage) using companies like Zelius to pay for claims. Currently, in order to make this possible in the ledger, I need to first transfer the amount due to client, then process the electronic card payment with a note in the ledger, then go back and write off amounts under insurance. It turns into a mess on a client's statement and I have to explain how those payments are not from them but the insurance. Please advise.
