There should be a way to have administrative/customer service staff to be able to see client payments without having to be given full billing access.
This would help with client questions regarding billing and payment for phone calls about issues. Without having to get the billing department involved if not necessary.
Id like for my therapists to know what patients owe copay without me having to give them billing permissions. Right now it is impossible for them to manage their patients and know this informaton without having access to all billing info which i dont think is necessary. Please fix this!!!!!!!
PLEASE add this feature! It would be so helpful for our therapists that don't have full billing permission to be able to collect copays at time of service.
Allow staff that doesn't have access to ledger or billing to still see the insurance and copay on the client details page that displays in the upper right corner.
Fix billing/admin permissions to provide clinicians with access to certain billing features. It is an "all or nothing" permission and clinicians should be able to see their client's billing information and ledgers without also having access to more administrative reports, such as payroll.
Allow therapists without billing permissions to see Co-pays and override fees in their calendar/agenda so that they know how much clients are being billed.
Therapist run their own billing because only they know if the client is being charged for a no show fee or not. BUT they should not have access to running my companies financial reports. If I restrict their access to only see their own clients, they cannot see the calendars accurately. My biggest concern is that staff should have the ability to charge cards but NOT have full access to running financial reports for the company. Think of your position with Theranest. Even in IT and development, you dont have access to see how much profit the entire company made. Why is my practice any different? I am concerned with adding my other practices and allowing staff to run reports this way.
It would decrease a lot of confusion between billing and out therapist. We do not do our billing either, but giving therapist access to claim information is becoming a major issue, right now this is the only way they are able to see.what a clients copay is in order to collect it in office. . It would be great if this option was enabled on the client detail screen or any of the other options .

Please allow Therapists to see the Left side where it shows the Copay or if they are CoInsurance. Without Billing privileges. Or that they can VIEW the billing BUT not be able to edit. It would be a View only option.
This is a very serious issue long overdue to be addressed, that should not have to wait longer for some larger number of votes to be fixed, given the seriousness: Please, please, please fix the issue of therapists having the ability to bill and thus peruse the accounting features of the company (financial reports) which is confidential proprietary information. Yet, we who own group practices really very much need all of our therapists to bill when they see clients; however, as permissions are set therapists can then see the overall financials of the company, to include their revenue plus see what each therapist brings in for revenue. Therapists need to be able to collect payment and apply to ledgers WITHOUT having access to the confidential financial reports of the business (i.e. they should not be able to run reports on revenue).
Therapists really need to be able to see what their client's co-pay is so if an Admin. person is not available the therapist knows what to charge their clients.
It would be really nice if therapists could see what a client's co-pay is from their Calendar like those with Administrative abilities can. This would help when therapists are checking their clients out and there is no Administrative team members able to help them with co-pays.
There should be a way to restrict access to certain billing data. We have four front desk staff between two offices who have to be able to see co payments so they have billing permissions because they can’t see co payments without it(unless I’m mistaken).
I am not able to use the features of theranest in full because those staff are granted access to billing. This means they can see all of our information. I do not want them to see claims or know how much we receive as reimbursements I begin to enter that date into each client file. I do not enter any insurance payments received into the system nor do I currently use the theranest system to bill as a result. All four staff do not need to know how much we are earning as a company, only our biller. We also shouldn’t have to remove their access to copayments in order to use the billing features in full. The copay feature has been helpful with tracking all who has to pay what throughout the day. We do not want to go back to paper/excel if we are paying for an electronic system that is supposed to make everything easy all in one system. More permissions would be greatly appreciated. Something only for front desk staff to see co payments, but not all of the billing information such as our financials.
I am need this feature implemented ASAP. Honestly, I am disappointed that it's not already here. If possible, please advise on the likelihood of this feature being added and the timeline. Thank you.
Allow counselors to see copay amount in the calendar without giving them access to billing. Our counselors collect copays and they need to see this information.

This is already in place-- see "Bill To & Insurance" tab. What is not available is a deductible and co insurance feature. Currently I have created a paper copy of keep track of this.
