Add credit card information in the portal that populates in TheraNest
Allow clients to add their credit card information on the portal (without having to make a payment) that will then populate into TheraNest so I don't have to manually transfer credit card numbers from credit card authorization/consent forms.
Portal --Biling function when accounts are linked does not work properly. If a linked account (eg parents with multiple minor children are in treatment) needs their credit card updated, the update only applies to the PRIMARY account. This means that when the PRACTICE processes payments the updated Credit Card will not process in associated accounts. Only the account owner can process payments for the other family members. In our practice, we process payments. It is very helpful for the family to be able to update credit card information but doesn't held the practice... we still have to call clients to get their credit card information. This really needs to be fixed
There is no place for clients to enter a CVV code when they update their credit card information or when entering a client's credit card information in the "bill to" section. This is very incovientent when trying to charge the card because I have to try to contact the client for that code.
Allow clients to save their card for us to charge rather than them having to complete a new form or make a manual payment with a therapist every time a card needs to be updated.
Both our billing company and our practice requires a written authorization on file for use of a client's credit card. That authorization is included in the intake documents. However, a client just added a new credit card through the Client Portal and requested verbally that we use it going forward. The new credit card downloaded into TheraNest; however, we don't have a written authorization for use of this new card. The client is confused as for her, authorization is implied since she entered the card. "Implied" doesn't help us or our biller. An authorization needs to be automatically completed in the Client Portal when a client adds a new credit card, and it needs to be automatically downloaded into General Documents in addition to the card being downloaded into the Bill to & Insurance page. Thank you.
There is not space for the client to enter their CVV number when storing a card on file. This is needed in order to process their credit card. Can a box be added as there is one on our end of Theranest where they can write in the CVV number?
Clients are not able to enter their full credit Card information prior to their first invoice, which has resulted in delays and non-payment of services and no-shows.
PCI DSS states "PCI DSS does not prohibit the collection of card verification codes/values prior to authorization of a specific purchase or transaction. However, it is not permitted to retain card verification codes/values once the specific purchase or transaction for which it was collected has been authorized. Some service providers offer a concierge-style service, where cardholder details are retained by the provider to facilitate potential future transactions. Retention of card verification codes/values for this purpose is also prohibited under PCI DSS Requirement 3.2."
Being that this would a specific purchase, agreed upon by the client, and not a "concierge-style service", this feature should be permitted
It would be helpful if a client could enter their credit card, with the CVV number when the complete the intake paperwork and we were notified when they did. It would also be helpful if us clinicians could enter the CVV number before processing an invoice. At this time we are entering the card into the billing section and adding a note.
When I was using SimplePractice, clients were able to upload their own credit card info and I never had to deal with the numbers or CVV. Wondering why TN doesn't have this capability?
Right now, if a client enters their cc information, that information is not saved for later us. The information still needs to be entered a second time by the therapist. If the authorization form was fully integrated into the system, that would eliminated the redundancy and any questions from clients about why their information was not saved the first time around.
Forms need to auto-populate into the record, intakes, credit card auths... So we can only auto-charge people with active authorizations without having to go into every single client. Especially since clients are able to enter and save their own credit card information.
Please automatically put a client's credit card into TheraNest where it needs to go to be used instead of a therapist manually adding it to the chart after consent has been completed by a client.
When a client updates the card on file through the portal, it does not ask for the CVV/CVC. This is ineffective because when they update a card they then have to take a second step and make a payment. For our clinic the office is responsible for charging/accepting payments so the clients end up being confused. If there was a CVV/CVC field box on the enter new card details, clients would have less steps to complete and it would cause less confusion. "I updated the card info why is my balance not paid?" "The website didn't ask for the CVV" Many confused clients.
Maybe you could combine the card information with the make a payment section on the website or include a header saying "you must also make a payment for the card to be valid"
