Upon a provider's death, there should be functionality that makes it simple and easy for the legal representative to compose and distribute a letter to ALL (both active and archived) clients informing them of the passing of their provider in a secure/HIPAA compliant way. It could be a part of the Intake Forms functionality in the General Documents section of the client's record or something completely new.

Please allow archived clients to access their client portal accounts.
1. Clients leave counseling but late may want to contact us about coming back and may choose to use the portal since it's more secure.
2. Clients who have terminated may need to access their portal to obtain past invoices.
Allow clients to maintain their portal access when archived. (I like the ability to send mass message to all clients as a way of marketing. I like to send out messages, reminders, pointers to my blog, etc-Its a great way to remind clients to keep up with their appointments. I have clients that will come and go over the course of a year. It would be helpful if they can keep their ability to schedule appointments without having to contact me to have their portal access turned on because I've archived them.)
