A great feature would be to "Copy my last progress note" when you have multiple clinicians providing services to the same client i don't want to pull in a supportive counseling note or a peer support note, I want to pull in the last note I personally signed. That is my suggestion. Thanks
I share a client with a clinician that sees them for a DBT skills group. Due to the different note input type, I am unable to choose "copy from last session" as it autogenerates a copy of the DBT skills note because it was the last note entered. Could there be an option added to which type of note we'd like to copy - ie a drop down from "copy last session" where we could choose either last standard note or last dbt session note etc.
YES PLEASE! I am an EMDR therapist who often needs to switch between the EMDR note and regular note from week to week, and there's no way currently to bring up a note from 2+ sessions ago. Please amend this so we can choose ANY note to upload and update! Simple Practice already does this, so please consider what your competitors are doing well and give us this feature :)
I agree this would be incredibly helpful and a huge time saver. It can be very frustrating to have to recreate the wheel every time I switch to a different note if there is a different service provided for the same client.
This feature would save time on documenting, by allowing user to copy over the information from their most recently saved note to their current note prior to making edits. Current settings only allow users to copy the very last note saved regardless of who the author was. It would also help to have the ability to see each author's name with their note on the main page of the progress notes page.
It would be so much easier if you could copy from a specific note of your choosing rather than just the last note written. Sometimes the last note written is a cancellation note or a parent session (for those of us who see children) and then I either have to start from scratch or tediously copy section by section from the note that I want to use. Please add this feature.
I provide multiple services. I need the last note to copy for the next to be of the particular service I last provided, not just the last note entered. Please add this feature, it would save so much time!
To be able to copy a treatment plan, in fact a note in general. Once someone else uses the client chart or you do a locus info note - you can no longer copy over a note. So the ability to copy notes and treatment plans would be beneficial. It takes me 3 times as long to do things on TheraNest as it did on My Clients Plus. TheraNest is a very challenging program that takes so much longer to do many things.
My company has multiple scenarios in which the Client, e.g., a school district, has more than one school in which we provide services. Additionally, we have multiple therapists working with a client.
Theranest Progress Note template data can only be copied from the previous Client session. Providing the user with additional options for copying data, from a specific session or a specific service tier, would be a tremendous benefit for the clients we service.
As a child therapist, I often have meetings with child's parents which mean that the mental status section of a session is often rendered as not applicable, and the interventions are different as well. It would be helpful if you could copy a note from a specific session (i.e. the last parent or family session from a month prior) as to not have to manually input much of the same information.
Currently one only has the option to copy the previous session's note in creating a new one. I would like the ability to copy ANY note based on date or service to use as a draft for my current note. If I provide a different service to client, for example individual therapy, and then Family consult with pt present, I am unable to simply use that last note. It would also be ideal to be able to copy mental status as part of last note, in order to just change what's necessary...this would save a lot of time! THANKS!
I 2nd this request. I see a family for counseling, sometimes as a whole family and sometimes individual children but they are all under one file. I would like to select a specific progress note to copy, so I can choose the most recent progress note for that specific family member.

This would be VERY MUCH appreciated. I provide three different services for my clients and bill for each, so when I want to use my last progress note, I can't just pick the last service note based on the service and have to go back into a client's notes in order to find the one with the last appropriate service to copy. (Perhaps it would be helpful to have a favorites tab for each client where you can save whatever docs you'd like to be able to access...although my original request would be much more ideal). :)
Request: when using a previous progress note as a template for a new progress note, please allow me to select a specific progress note to use as a template.
JUSTIFICATION: my client has several workers on their case. When I make a new note based on a template, I would like to use one of my notes as a template, rather than whichever note was most recently written
