We corrected an issue where members of a client’s Contact Network did not receive an email notification when they had a new secure message on the Client Portal.
This would be extremely helpful! I work with some children and adolescents and it's imperative that their parents (part of the contact network) receive notifications when I send them a new secure message.
Please add this feature of sending email notifications to people in the contact network when I send them a message in TheraNest. This way my messages can remain secure AND the recipient will know to look for their message without duplicating communication or the recipient not knowing they have this message waiting for them. This would greatly improve your portal!!
Please help us take better care of families by improving/updating the theranest messaging system, such that parents will be notified when they receive a new theranest message. This is a barrier to families (and clients in general) receiving important communications from therapists. Thanks so much!!
It would make my life much easier if my clients got an email every time they get a new message. The same way I get an email when I get a message from one of my clients! Now I just have to follow up each Theranest message with an email saying that I sent them a message.
This would be so helpful, as sometimes parents/caregivers and other individuals in a client’s contact network aren’t always aware that they have received a secure message. Email notification would be of great benefit!
Yes, this would be extremely useful. When client's contact network (in our case, often parents) miss these messages due to lack of notification, it can cause an unnecessary delay in communicating important information.
Email notifications are crucial for timely communication, especially for agencies working with children where parents are involved. However, the Contact Network feature used by an agency is limited in its ability to send email notifications when a secure message is sent directly to parents. To provide better service, it's important to revisit this suggestion and implement a solution that allows email notifications to be sent to parents when they receive a secure message. Consulting with the IT department or software provider can help find a solution, and prioritizing the needs of the clients, especially children, is key. By addressing this limitation, the agency can improve their service and communication channels. Thank you for your consideration.
I would GREATLY appreciate a client notification feature! So many clients, especially parents, don't check this account regularly and miss critical information. They then try to get us to change email correspondence to something that is not HIPAA compliant. It would be so much better if they just knew when to look at the account.
The need to have this feature is incredibly important. We work with hundreds of child and teen clients and need to message parents securely and privately in the contact network. What is the point of having a secure network if the parent does not receive any notification that they have a message waiting? The therapist has to then reach out again to let them know they have a message. Please add this feature to improve the care for children and parents! Thank you.
Revisiting this suggestion! This is a crucial feature missing for our agency that works with hundreds of clients (many of which are child clients). We add their parents to the Contact Network which is a fantastic feature, but it is grossly limited by the inability for the parent to receive an email notification when a secure message is sent directly to them!
