I am a psychologist. I do not prescribe meds, but I do like to keep track of a patient's meds and who prescribes them. It would be helpful to have a place to enter this which would then be included in every note until I change or remove the medications.
I am seeking a drop-down feature that lists medications and dosages but does not require a subscription to your e-prescription plan. We are not prescribers but this information is essential for effective care and should be easier to track using your system.
It would be helpful to include client's medicine records, so it could help us to keep track of the client's medications. It would be nice to check in to see what both are current and past medications the clients are/were on. Thank you!
For therapist that don't use electronic prescriptions, create a section that imbeds in the progress note for current medications. Information should included med name, dose, frequency, and prescribing doc. This should also allow you to discontinue medication no longer in use. For safety and monitoring reasons this should be accessible to all Theranest Users. If there was an emergency and medications needed to be known quickly that would be very hard to do as I would have to search through progress notes.
