Allow therapists to set self-scheduling preferences
As a therapist, allow me to set whether clients can self-schedule with me on the client portal. I'm responsible for setting and creating my schedule, not the administrators at my practice.
As the main person in my group that loves self-scheduling, I would love to be able to use this function, but I have it off as my staff doesn't want it, so this would be helpful. Additionally though, taking from Simple Practice's set up, it would be helpful to be able to set availability for appointment scheduling in more specific ways (i.e. from this time to this time people can schedule x service, and from this to this time they can schedule y service, etc.). I have recurring therapy appointments, but also reserve time for one-off evaluations that I currently use my google appointment scheduler for.
Please add feature to allow each provider to disable self-scheduling -- some want it, most don't, most don't want to turn off for each/every client - and they don't have the Organization tab so they can't turn it off
Please make it possible for TN users (non-admins) to prevent clients from modifying, cancelling, or adding appointment to my online schedule. The therapist, not Org Admin or Group Practice Owners, manage the client's schedule.
I prefer to manage my own schedule and my schedule does not always reflect true session availability. At the same time, I prefer not to have to add breaks/blocks to my schedule. Further, I may want to give up a break to see a client if it's the only rescheduling option.
If a client comes to me directly on email, it saves me the trouble of having to deal with the portal request then have to reach out to the client by email/phone separately to make the scheduling change.
Thanks.
I would like an option to control whether clients can schedule themselves. I prefer to schedule my clients so that I can stack appointments and would rather not allow clients to schedule themselves, although I'm sure I'm in the minority in this opinion!
We’d like to be able to turn this off completely for some therapists, and remain active for others. With over 600 clients, we’d rather not have to go through every single client to turn this feature off.
