The Agenda's Balance Due section needs to be split between client amount due & insurance amount due. With just the bulk sum on there it's pretty useless because you still have to go into the client's account to decipher if they actually owe anything.

The Balance Due on the Agenda has now been split to display the Client Balance Due and the Insurance Balance Due so you can easily see how much the client owes.
This is a good idea. Both categories, client amount due and insurance amount due, are of interest to me, but the combined total isn't useful and causes concern among staff who are glancing at balances. Our staff of therapists only want and need to know if the client is carrying a balance, as this may become part of the session discussion. I hope this becomes reality soon!
That is a pretty big issue in our practice - so often co-pays and deductibles are missed because receptionist or clinicians cannot see the 'balance' past due on accounts and do not collect and usually it's too late adding MORE charges to the account - it would be IDEA to have an account alert or something to signify when checking in on calendar that there is a past due balance to collect.
TheraNest - Is this a planned improvement? This idea/suggestion dates back over a year ago but has several comments supporting it and 67 VOTES to date!
Refreshing the idea posted here over a year ago. This would make a huge difference!

This is something we could really use! It would eliminate SO much of the back-and-forth recordkeeping nonsense that has been occurring between therapists collecting copays and the admins trying to record them accurately.
Client amount due on the Agenda is extremely important. More important than Insurance amount due so that front desk knows their's an outstanding balance to collect.
Please let us know when this will be added or planned. Seems like a simple change.
EXACTLY CORRECT ! Having the TOTAL balance due is useless. When the feature was added for the balance due to be shown on the agenda it should have been broken down at the time.
Seems to me that with the prior programming effort to display the total balance being done, it shouldn't be that difficult to break it down between insurance and client amounts due. Even if the total was simply replaced by the client amount it would be more beneficial.
I don't know what value displaying the insurance balance due really provides. It's of interest but more significant is the client $$ due.
I see that there is another suggestion similar to this but I get a failed/error notice every time try to vote on it. The balance that's reflected in the agenda needs to be just the client balance or it needs to show the client and the insurance balance separately. Showing it as a total number is completely useless for us if we want to know about whether or not the client owes anything without having to go into their ledger. PLEASE update this feature!
Our front office needs to be able to quickly see the client balance due from the agenda screen when clients are checking in. When we have 10+ clients checking in at once, it takes too much time for our front office to have to open each client's ledger to see if they owe anything.
PLEASE provide this update. Having a total sum balance on the agenda is useless. We need to be able to see client balance separate from insurance balance.
PLEASE update the balance showed on both the calendar and the printed agenda to include client balance owed. We print out our agendas daily for all the clinicians at my group practice and are currently individually checking and handwriting each persons balance-- ugh! It would be so easy to pull that information over since it is already populated in another section.
Show patient balance on clinicians calendar and if possible in the progress notes. Our clinicians do not have access to the billing feature so they don't know about past due balances due from patients.
