Send secure message/email to people outside organization

It would be great to have the option for an easy hipaa compliant way to have collateral providers contact therapists through the portal.

Would also be handy for emailing the 'other parent' when working with minors of divorced parents. We currently send consent docs, affidavit, etc. via regular email. Having a way to send these docs within the client detail/chart and having replies automatically become part of the record would be huge.

this could be important for sending a termination letter knowing the client will no longer have access to the secure messaging after archived

Yes this feature really is CRITICAL at this point, especially for Telehealth prectices. It is very difficult to not be bale to send a quick Release of Information to other providers for clients! We need this so badly! We also need an Authorization to Release as part of the Intake Packet!

It would be great to have a way for clients' other providers to send a document directly to the client's documents section or participate in messaging. Currently I have to ask them to send via a less secure medium, and then I download/upload to get it into the record. Could there be a type of "non-client" account in the portal that would only provide messaging capability (with attachments)? It would also be nice to have a way to assign documents received as attachments to the client's documents or clinical documents without downloading and uploading.

Most of my clients are children/adolescents and I often have to email both caregivers with clinical information. The way secure messaging is set up with Theranest is to send a message to the client through their client portal account. I need a way to send an email to two separate email addresses (ie., both parents)?
