Ensora Mental Health Ideas Portal

Expand features for handling child/minor clients (notes, contacts, intake etc.)

Create a separate feature for reminder calls & email that include a parent contact. or a box that differentiates between a child client versus an adult client, therefore insurance information and contact information would be specialized. It would be nice, if you work with children, to have child friendly notes as well as a section specifically in regards to separation / divorce - a place to list information such as custody arrangements, etc. Minor child clients require additional informed consents. It would be helpful to be able to customize which intake forms go to new clients when inviting them to the client portal.

When creating accounts for minors I have noticed that intake forms are automatically sent for them when the portal invite is sent for their parent (contact network person). I have different forms for minors that need to be sent. Also I have noticed that I can not revoke forms in a child account because they aren't active because of their age. This seems to have been an issue for years. Is there a timeline for when this stuff can be added for minors

Mark on the details page that the client is a minor and have it stand out.

I agree, and I also have following issues 1) would be great if allowing same parent email for several children if they are all having individual therapy. 2) I am currently not able to register a sibling because there are only 1 email and phone number (for the mom). This makes absolutely no sense. 3) It would be nice to also be able to send reminders to both parent and child. 4) I am not able to send emails to the mom and another email to the teenager which the mom cannot read.

Yes! Need consents that reflect minor clients. Also treatment plans for minors need a signature line/area for legal guardian as this is required for Medicaid and other insurances. Minor clients' signatures can't stand alone.

We need a parent/guardian signature option for treatment plans when the client is a child. Right now this has been overlooked.

Have additional fields added to the client details page, especially for minor clients. Specifically, if a client is a child, have a space to enter "Mother's Phone Number" and "Dad's Phone Number" instead of just "home" and "mobile" phone number - that isn't descriptive enough for many cases. Perhaps being able to select what type of phone number it is from a drop down menu would be helpful, and then allow to add additional numbers as needed.

The current forms are a little difficult to use with child clients, as there's not a place to enter both parents names/phone numbers/addresses, or to quickly indicate that the parent name needs to be on the insurance forms (superbills, etc.) I'm looking at the client portal now and it's the same thing - It would be nice to have a way to indicate that this is a minor client and have these fields available.

Another comment: an intake form to send to the parents regarding their child and developmental history, history of the presenting problem

In South Africa the law requires consent from both biological parents or legal guardians. A consent form that enables this, or the possibility of sending to each parent's email address would be great.

Parent/guardian signature line in addition to child(client) signature lines on informed consent paperwork and treatment plans.

There is another service out there that lacks several of the features that Theranest has, but one thing it DOES have is a check box that says "Client is a minor" that is very early in the "add client" process so that if this box is checked, it's not asking for employer, and it IS asking for parent/guardian information. Although after using that program for a few days I abandoned it in favor of TheraNest, I really miss that feature.

Be able to input information specifically for children. A place for parent info, grade, etc. All that stuff would be great.

There ara a lot of great questions about adults but It could be very very good to include questions for children and adolescents. Maybe choosing initially the patient: ADULT or MINOR, so the questions are presented according to the patient. Thanks

I see children and when I invite parents to the portal they almost always enter their own name as the client name. It would help to have boxes for the name of the person completing the form AND client or client and "parent name (if client is a minor)" so it's clear for people. Otherwise they end up opening new cases under their own names when their child is in the system already. This could also be solved by allowing me to customize the portal invitation email so I could include instructions.

It would be great for additional space to add the non-custodial information whenever I am working with children who reside with one parent.

We work a lot with children - we need a space to list their guardian, and option to allow the guardian to sign relevant documents, including consent for treatment and treatment plans. Otherwise, we have to print the document and scan it in manually.
