HIPAA-compliant Teletherapy / Telehealth Video Sessions

A client portal would be very nice and the inclusion of video would be extra nice. :-) Check out CounSol's client portal with video that allows therapists to schedule (HIPAA compliant) video sessions with individuals and groups. This would be a huge benefit. CounSol does not support group practices and so this would be a unique benefit.

      Still a big need for this! Lots of other practice management systems are now including video conferencing. Using something like VSee's SDK seems like a solid route.

      Simple Practice is now testing this with users. about to add this feature. I pay for a separate platform for this now. I have six clients who use video sessions exclusively or occasionally, and anticipate more. Please expedite this! Looks like it has been on the back burner since 2013? Considering jumping back to Simple Practice . . .

      I have so many clients requesting video sessions and I have to use a different program but having this option in TheraNest would be easier for clients and ideal for us clinicians to have everthing in one place.

      To have an Intregrated telemedicine platform, so that everything is in one place. It would be helpful for the conferencing and the notes to be in the same place.

      We use a HIPAA compliant video conference system to perform 2-way video sessions with clients. We contract and use a separate vendor for this service. It has its own note taking, billing and other EHR capabilities VERY similar to TheraNest. We hope TheraNest injects a secure video platform integrated into its system so we can remain with Theranest.

      The distance counseling is a form of skype where counselors and clients connect via the web to conduct counseling sessions. Sessions are private, secure and encrypted allowing for privacy and protection of clients rights.
