Our practice has grown and use a DBA outside of our current location & do not want to get another EHR. But text reminders & emails show the main locations name only. Very confusing to clients, need more options.

Each time I have to do submit claims I have to change the organization name to submit and then back to the DBA. I want to use the organization name that comes up in documents, client portal, etc to be my DBA/Brand name. The legal name is there but it's not used for claims. It would be best for claims to pull from legal name, which is usually the one used for credentialing.
DBA needs to be on login to theranest and client forms and documents and official organization name needs to show up on superbills and any official tax or insurance related forms. Currently the official corporation name will show up on the landing page for theranest for clients and therapist when the DBA should be forward facing for branding and name usage. This is confusing to clients because they only know our DBA. When they see the corporation name they are not sure they are with the right business.
I appreciate that DBA has been added. However when you add the legal Organization name it shows up to the clients. I need the DBA to be client facing on the client portal and all forms but the legal organization name to show up on superbills and insurance forms. Please adjust this soon as it's very confusing to clients who only know my DBA.
this is a real and serious issue and I don't understand why it's not being fixed quicker. I don't want my patients getting emails and invoices with my official business name that they have no recognition of. It should all be based on the DBA, or my name, which they recognize and is an important part of brand consistency.
I am completely baffled that there is only one place to denote Legal Business Name and Doing Business As (DBA) within this software -- which is in the credit card/billing section. This is a major problem considering that TheraNest markets to Groups Practices.
It seems pretty simple to add a single box for this; however, since this thread is well over a year old, I gather there is no intention to fix this issue. My clients know my DBA name. Only the IRS, my bank and insurance companies utilize my Legal Business name.
Finally, I dont like how suggestions are simply ignored. If you all have no intention on fixing something, just say it. Ignoring real issues is bad customer service. Moreover, this is a pretty major design flaw which is rather simple to fix.
TOTALLY AGREE !! Is there even a DBA name field within Theranest? There should be if not, and then a placeholder created and available anywhere "Organization Name " is a placeholder. I agree to have only one name available is a real limitation. In too many cases the business (DBA ) name used by the business and familiar to clients and staff is NOT the legal entity name that needs to be on the CMS 1500 data. Should be a simple enhancement.
Yes! A colleague and I both have LLC's and we want to send customized reminders. As of now there can only be 1 organization and its information. This would be a great addition. I'm surprised there are not more votes on it!!
Currently the organization name is linked to the CMS form; my company has an official LLC name that needs to go on all CMS forms as well as a DBA which my patients know my practice by and that all staff refer to. I would like the DBA to go on superbills and on the website etc, but the official organization name to go on the CMS.
