Customize restriction for portal scheduling/cancellations/reschedules

Currently, there are two client portal settings to allow clients to schedule an appointment, and another setting to allow clients to cancel or reschedule an appointment within 24 hours, but I'd like to adjust the time to 48 or 72 hours.

Just came here to make this same request! Be pro therapists having a life and not being tied to 24-hour cancellation policies, Theranest!

Currently the time frame for a client to cancel or reschedule appointment is within less than 24 hours. My cancellation policy is that you must give 48 hour notice. Would like one of the portal options to be 48 hours.

Right now you can set the self-scheduling option to allow clients to schedule within 24hrs or not. I often get someone scheduling at 10:59am for 11am the following day. I would prefer if they couldn't self-schedule within 48hrs so I have time to respond and send the intake paperwork for them to complete prior to the appointment. 24hrs isn't enough notice for me. Is there a way to let us set the time from in which someone can schedule?

I do not want my clients to be able to reschedule (in the self-service portal) their sessions within a certain time frame. That time frame is 48 hours. When my clients cancel in that time frame, they must pay the full fee. This is very normal in therapy. Is this possible in Theranest? I don’t see an option for it in my preferences.

I would suggest therapists/practices be able to set whether clients can book appointments within 24, 48, 72, or 96 hours before the appointment. Context: I require clients to complete forms at least 48 hours prior to appointments. Allowing clients to book prior to 48 hours means I have to decline appointments and potentially lose clients OR scramble to get paperwork completed.

Make it so a client is not able to cancel their appointment 48 hours prior to their appointment on their portal and they need to call or text us if they need to cancel.
