Under your organization's settings, you can now specify whether the default telehealth Place of Service is Telehealth (02) or Telehealth Provided in Patient’s Home (10).
Allow me to edit the POS in Batch invoicing or Awaiting for Submission. When I am adding 300 claims from this week, its time consuming to have to navigate back to the patient ledger to make changes to POS. Or you could default POS to 10 for telehealth since that's what is being widely used now
I would like to see a choice of code 02 or 10 when scheduling a telehealth appt. All of our clients are in their home for telehealth which is code 10 and when scheduling telehealth, it defaults only to code 02.
Please give the option of choosing the default Place of Service as 10 or 02. Better yet, would love to have POS associated with the payer since their requirements vary
Blue Cross Blue Shield in Oklahoma will not accept (10), only (02). I would love to be able to set the default to either. As I only offer services by Telehealth now it really would simplify my completion time and accuracy.
I would formally ask that this feature be added to Theranest as I am sure that '02' no longer apply to many of your users. Most telehealth sessions take place at or in the home.
ABSOLUTELY need this option. Most of us will most likely be using the new 10 code for 95% of telehealth appointments, it doesn't make sense to keep 02 as the default. At least have the option for each organization to choose which one they want as default!
The new update has caused major conflicts with my clinicians. They need to change the place of service to teletherapy (02). It will not allow them to change it when the service type is teletherapy CPT code with the modifier. We can not allow them to have billing rights. In addition, because of this, they can note save "copy progress notes from last session" adding new notes. It gets sent to drafts. It is entirely not feasible for us. Our billing department needs to go into each appointment manually to change the POS, which causes extra unnecessary work when it was working just fine before. Not happy at all!
The update for the place of service ***CAUSING ISSUES***
While some practices benefit from 02 being the default location for telehealth sessions other practitioners are still located in their office and require location code 11 for insurance billing.
