When sending a secure message to a client, allow me to compose and save a draft. I may need to jot some things down and then come back to edit and send later.
Strongly Agree! I have been drafting a message and stepped away; or accidentally pressed something that toggled me away from the message I was typing - and then it was all lost simply because there is no draft saved of the email!
Save and store draft messages and draft replies by default. Do not erase drafts unless the client chooses to erase them.
I spent an hour on a reply to an important message from my therapist, and simply clicking the therapist's original message (in the area above the reply space) erased the draft without any prompt or warning.
It is very inconvenient to not be able to save drafts of emails being sent to clients. Sometimes messages need to be edited or added to before sending, and it would thus be very helpful to be able to save message drafts and be able to go back to them before sending. Thank you.
