If I navigate to a client's notes and there isn't an open case, don't create a new one. I may only be looking at the notes to review notes from a closed case and I don't need a new case created.
Currently, if there is not a case open, the system automatically creates a new case. This is cumbersome and means, if you are just looking to access old cases for administrative purposes you have to delete the newly created case. It would be helpful, if there is not a current case open that it takes you to the All Cases screen and you can create a new case if needed, but not have the system automatically create one.
I saw this idea was posted in 2018, but no change has since been made. Please do not auto-create new cases when clicking the 'notes' tab ; or create a user-friendly way to view notes from closed cases.
This automatic feature to create a new case if there is not one open is quite annoying and very inefficient. When needing only to review a closed case, this creates extra steps and awareness to make sure you go back and verify nothing is in the case and delete it.
When a case is already closed and you click on the notes section for a client, a new case will automatically open. I often don't need a new case started and just need to access the closed case. This means going back and deleting the newly opened case every time. Deleting this function or even adding a feature to disable the opening of a new case would be ideal.
Anytime someone hits the notes tab, a case is automatically created. Is it possible to turn this feature off? This default feature results in many accidental opened cases that we end up deleting.
After I save a note I could be directed right back to the day I was working on -- or perhaps a back button be added. It takes so long to navigate back a month in between each note.
I think the 'notes' button on the left side should be 'cases'. There is only one way to get to the cases page in order to create or assign cases and that is from the details page. It needs to be on the left side. I agree the notes on the left side is disorientating and if there is no open case it opens a new case then you have to delete the case that was created by accident. I am an admin, not a therapist.
