Set different times for each type of appointment reminder
Allow me to have each type of appointment reminder scheduled to go out at different times. For example, I may want to send email reminders 3 days before the appointment and a text reminder the day before.
It would be helpful to have the ability to schedule different types of reminder notifications at different times. I would love the ability to send an email reminder 3 days before the appointment and ALSO send a text message reminder the day before the appointment.
As it currenty functions, if i select email and text message reminders, they get two different reminders at the same time on the same day and that seems less helpful for client retention.
Allow customizable reminder options, where we can send multiple reminders to clients for the same appointment. For example, a 2-day reminder, 24-hour reminder, and 1-hour reminder all for the same session. I currently use Square for reminder management instead of theranest for this reason, but would love to only have one calendar to manage.
Add the ability to decide when e-mail reminders will send out to patients. As of now, my patients complain that their e-mail reminders come through too late for them to cancel sessions with 24-hours notice. Please update this feature the way you have updated text reminders so that you can decide the time it goes out. Thanks!
Agree with all and we would like to be able to have variety within when text messages go out such as 48 hrs/2days prior for appts on Tues-Friday. But for appts scheduled on Mon, we would like them to go out Fri am72 hours/3 days so if there are cancellations we have time to fill them prior to the weekend. We do not have admin working on weekends right now.
I would like the reminder system to be more intuitive so to be able to send out two text reminders (first one 5 days out and second 1 day out) or once it is sent out, if there is no response another is sent out each day until responded to.
Could we send multiple text messages for reminders? Like when we have couple's therapy, being able to send the reminders for appointments to both individuals. I also have teenagers that would like their notifications along with the parents being notified as well. This helps with maintaining consistent "show-ups" to appointments.
I've used a few different scheduling programs and a wonderful feature in them has been the ability to set different appointment reminder notifications for different days. For example, I can set email reminders for 72 hours prior to the appointment, call reminders for 48 hours before the appointment, and text message reminders for 24 hours before the appointment. It has been great in helping to reduce no shows and late cancels.
This is a very important idea that hopefully can be implemented right away!! Some practices may need to send more than one reminder.
Using my practice as an example, we charge a client if they cancel with less than 24 hours notice--the same as if they no-showed.
But we like to send out our text message reminders the same day as the appointment. Ideally, we'd like to send an email 2 days before so that they have a chance to cancel if they'd like, and then send a follow-up reminder the day of so that they are definitely sure of the appointment time, and the second reminder would be by text message. The way the program is currently set up, both the email reminder and the text message reminder will go out at the same time.
If the reminder times could be set individually under each type of reminder, that would be far more helpful.
Also, this suggestion has been made at least two or three times, but the wording is slightly different, so it would be helpful to combine them. This one has 10 votes, another has 2 votes, and another has 4 votes. If you combined them all, it could be more clearly seen that there are a lot of people interested in this as an option.
