Allow other staff to manage unconfirmed appointments
Currently, if a client requests an appointment online, an alert is only sent to the therapist. As an office manager, I would like to be able to see all pending appointments so I can make sure they are getting approved within 24 hours.
It would be so helpful for Office Staff and Managers to be able to approve or deny client portal appointment requests for the therapists. In our practice, the front office does most of the scheduling so it would make the most sense for us to be able to monitor the appt requests as well.
We would like our admin members to view and approve/deny any appointment requests for the providers. This would make the process more efficient and help us provider better customer service to our clients.
Would be nice if the admin can see the providers unconfirmed appointments box to consider the appointment requests of those clients. If this don't make since please call me I would love to elaborate on this.
I have talked to 3 different practice owners who have theranest accounts and myself about our frustration with the client portal feature that requires therapists to confirm clients scheduling through the portal instead of the front office folks. For larger group practices, we have front offices that do all the scheduling for our clinicians and our clinicians pay us a percentage of their salary to do this. We want clients to be able to schedule through the portal but can't use this feature now because of the inflexibilty of theranest which prevents front office administrators from confirming appointments for therapists in the practice. I can't think of any doctors office that requires their clinicans to confirm appts. The front office normally do this. I would like you to change this feature to allow front office to confirm appts. The 2 other practice owners I know that have theranest are getting ready to drop their services with you because of this feature alone. It is prohibitive for larger practices that need the front office to handle of their scheduling.
...it also constitutes a poor client experience when they show up for an appointment they think was scheduled, but it wasn't actually confirmed and/or a therapist never saw it!
Vice versa is also true--when a therapist shows up for a session they thought was happening, and a client cancelled it without ever being given explicit control over scheduling online...this automatic setting is a pain.
We have 23 therapist in our office and our front staff are the the ones who manage and approve appointments on each therapist schedule. Allowing the client to book under their therapist but give the front office access to review and approve or deny appointments with out having to go through the therapist to see those request would be extremely time saving and beneficial.

Please make the unconfirmed appointments accessible to admins. We control the schedules and need to be able to confirm or deny a request.
In the client portal please turn off the automatic scheduling for clients once they sign up, this has caused scheduling problems and I do not see it getting any better. I know we have the ability to turn it off but for the client to have the ability to schedule themselves when they sign up for the portal is not a good thing and when the admin is not able to confirm or deny an appointment this really causes a lot of headaches and rescheduling issues.
