I am currently working with a client’s secondary insurance (Ohio Medicaid) and they are requesting that the actual EOB/Remittance Advice be uploaded and attached when I bil them through Theranest. This request was discovered by me going to the MITS Provider Portal months (okay a year) later when I had not received any payments. You can upload/attach a document in the MITS Provider Portal (once you have figured out how and read the MITS User Manual…etc) but it would be much easier to upload the document from Theranest when we submit our secondary claims.
