Send staff alert when client sends text message outside of appointment reminder

As a therapist, I get an alert if the client responds from a text reminder but not if they send a text outside of an appointment reminder. For example, I asked a client through text to come in 2 hours early. Because it is not an appointment reminder, I am not notified that they replied back to that message. I have to remember who I texted and then go to log to see if they saw my text and responded.

    We are happy to announce that you now have the ability to receive an in-app alert when a client sends you a text message. This alert will trigger if it was a one off text or a non-standard reply to an appointment reminder.     Please allow for us to receive notifications via email if clients send us a text message through Theranest.

    Just as there is an envelope icon at the top of the screen notifying us of a new email message, there is a need for an icon notifying the therapist of a new text message from a client. I continue to miss messages from clients not related to appointment reminder text messages.

    it would be nice if we were flagged if client used the appointment reminder as a text so we can see if they used this appointment reminder number as a contact ...see kim kuneli's response as example.

    As an Office Administrator, I schedule appointments for clients. I viewed the appointment reminder, and found that I can send texts to client from there. When a client responds, there is no alert to inform me that the client responded to the text. Also, sometimes, the client will state that they need to cancel the appointment and I am unaware until they don't show up to their appointment. This "Notification" feature would be very helpful and reduce scheduling errors. Please advise. Thanks

    Not having a notification IN THERANEST (like a pop-up box or notification flag or something) that a client texted a response back to the Theranest text has caused messages to get missed about appointment questions, appointment updates, and other things. It would be nice to also have a feature in which automated response box could be turned on during a provider's "off work" hours so clients know the provider is not likely to respond until they are back.

    Please give us an alert in the alert section if a client sends us a message in the reminders. Right now, I don't always get a text when a client responds, so I miss these. It would be nice to always get an email or text when they send any message as well.

    When we text a client through the system, and they respond to that text, it would be helpful to receive a notification that a text has been received.

    When a client sends a test message. we should receive an alert in TN so that we can have knowledge that they have texted. Or a better way to notify counselors that his/her client has sent a message.

    Create a way for clinicians to be notified if their client leaves a message for them in the client portal. Could this be set up similarly as the text reminders clinicians receive about appointments?

    Receive notification when a client seeds a text message in their portal. I can only see the message if I enter their chart and go into reminders.

    Even if an actual text can’t be sent out to our phones each time a client sends a non-standard reply, it would at least be great to receive a notification in TheraNest saying a certain client has sent a non-standard response. It’s an awesome feature to have the ability to text clients through TheraNest and not our phones... however it’s not realistic to not be able to get a notification when a response comes in. It’s very impractical to manually go through each client page to see if they responded. There have also been times when a client randomly sends a non-standard message and I have no idea because of no notification system. Please update this! Thank you!

    Receive an alert/notification with TN anytime there is a non-standard text response from a client in their reminders log. This is the main reason we signed up for TN for the 2-way texting and there has to be a notification of those non-standard client responses received. It's not feasible to keep checking under each client profile (we have 290+ active clients) to see if they have responded with dates/times they would like to reschedule or if they want an appt someone else canceled so they can be seen sooner. we do not use work cell phones and want to keep everything within TN so receiving a text notification is not useful.

    Hello. I am receiving messages from clients through TheraNest and I am not getting a notification on my phone (even though I've asked it to send me all forms of texts in my preferences) and there is no notification of a received message from a client on TheraNest either. Is it possible to place in the notification bar responses from clients? Thank you!

    It would be helpful to get a notification each time a client randomly text us through the messaging system, not only when they text in response to a appt reminder.

    Clients will send messages through the reminders and I only get a notification if it is a "non-standard" reply to the automated reminder. I would like to always get a notification of any message.

    I would like to have a notification in TheraNest and/or text/email every time there is a message sent through the reminder log. Right now, I only get an email occasionally whenever they respond to the reminder itself, but not if I send a text out or they send one back later.
