Send confirmation to client if they confirm or cancel through a text reminder
If a client receives a text reminder and they confirm or cancel through the reminder, send them a confirmation that they have confirmed or canceled their appointment because sometimes they cancel and then show up to their appointment.
It would be great if a message was sent to the client after they confirm their appointment. For example, "Thank you for confirming your appointment, we look forward to seeing you" or "We are sorry you cancelled your appointment, have a great day".
It would be very helpful if, in the text notification feature, clients were able to receive a verification of their text response (confirmation, cancel, or reschedule). We have had several clients accidentally cancel their appointments via text reminder only to show up for their appointment after we had rebooked their spot.
I do not care as much about confirmation of appointments. Buts I have had clients who would email me after they pressed "2" and cancelled the appointment, because they were worries that their appointment was not cancelled. They are used to receiving email reminders for when I schedule or reschedule an appointment, and they were expecting an email when they cancel a session.
When clients respond to the text reminders with either "1" to confirm or "2" to cancel their appointment, send an additional message that we have received their response and the appointment is confirmed or canceled.
