When I sign my note the "Place of Service' is always blank. Would be great if it let me pick the location when I'm writing my note or creating the appointment.
Please put a drop down on top of the progress note for place of service. Such as home, school, office, other. We use this platform for medicaid clients. I know it is on billing side, but our billing department cannot determine the place of service for each client and they do not hove to call every counselor every week to ask to ask.
thank you
Insurance audits require the procedure code and place of service on the progress note. This is difficult to do when you have to create an appointment each time, it would be helpful to have it on the note readily to complete with the scroll down of activities rather than connect with the appointment.
I cannot sign my notes before I send the invoice because i need the location on my notes. I want to do my notes before I am sending an invoice and right now I have to do the whole process backwards. It is unethical to just send an invoice without having a note in the system and I would like you guys to change this.
100% agree. Our practice has therapists seeing clients in home and in other locations. I create the invoice and I have to go read a note on each service to determine location. With 180 clients that would take forever!
Place of service and service code would be really helpful to have on the note so that it syncs to calendar appointment and invoice. Sometimes code changes during session based on service performed (maybe it turns into longer session or family session) so it would be nice not to have to go to calendar. Also, my staff perform in home therapy and we can only change location on actual invoice, this is not ideal for record keeping. Note should say where the service took place and sync to invoice.
Integrate Place of Service on the front end in the calendar to populate on the note rather on the back end when invoicing.
This is for larger companies where someone else on the back end is processing the invoices.
