Keep appointments in "Upcoming" until end of session

It is very confusing for clients who attempt join a telehealth session via their calendae appointment at 1 minute past the session (or more) to discover they cannot find their appointment listed in the "upcoming appointments" folder.

This suggestion would save a lot of time/confusion with clients for telehealth sessions.

Absolutely! I get client complaints about there being "no appointment" almost every day. It's normal that some clients are a couple of minutes late, and it often takes them 2 or 3 times to remember that the link is under "kept" appointments.

YES!! We definitely need a solution around this on the portal side to make the appointments more accessible for clients, even if they do join a minute or two late. This creates an even later start and in some cases a missed appointment.

In the client portal, the current appointment moves to "kept" appointments at the start of the appointment time. This has made it difficult for my clients to find their appointment if they log in a couple of minutes late. They also tell me that they have to scroll through all of their appointments to find it at the end. It would be helpful for the client to remain on their front page longer - like 10 or 15 minutes after their appointment start time. Or maybe it is a matter of the therapist having started the appointment that moves it? Either way, I hope that a solution can be found. Thank you!

I think it would be good for a session to stay in the "upcoming appointment" section of the portal for at least 15 minutes, rather than a few minutes after the appointment is supposed to start or is started by the therapist. I have had many clients get confused where to find their appointment if they coming into an appointment a little late.

Is there a way for a client to look in "kept" appointments and have the most recent date on top instead of having to scroll to the last page? The appointment has been changing from "upcoming" to kept very quickly so sometimes they need to join from the kept appointment page.

YES!! Came here to suggest this. It is so confusing for clients. Just wait until the end of session time to move to Kept. Also agree that the listing should appear in the opposite order. I agree that a "Join Session" button that automatically links to the session for that day would make it much easier.

This is definitely something that is needed. Client's with a lengthy treatment history are having to sift through pages of old appointments to find their current link. It might also help to add a 5 minute "grace" period before the link is switched to the kept folder. Many people are naturally running a bit late or having to address technically issues while logging on.

This seems like such an easy fix. I am surprised there are not more votes for this. I too am tired of clients texting me that they cant find their session and then having to wade through old sessions.

when a patient logs in to access apt at the top of the hour or just a min after the hour, they go to "Kept" appointments. They need to scroll all the way back to find today's appointment. This is backwards. They should be able to access most recent apt, it is a big complaint for many patients.

Please fix this! It would be a great world if we were all able to be on time but that just will never happen, we are all human so things happen. Please consider making this easier on clients therefore making it easier on therapists and office staff.

rather than move it to KEPT the minute the appointment time starts, move it to KEPT when the appointment time is OVER.

I was just going to request the same feature- AND request that the appointment STAY in the upcoming tab UNTIL the appointment is over rather than one minute after it starts, to allow for ease of access when running late

Yes, please edit this feature! Especially for long term clients with years worth of “kept” appointments to filter through is is really frustrating

If clients are a minute late for telehealth, it is coded as a kept appointment and they get confused as to where the link is to join the session. Can you wait 5 minutes until it is changed to kept? And/or the list of kept sessions is most recent last in the list so clients then have to scroll to the bottom. Can you reverse the order so most recent appointment is first, making it easier for them to find the link?
