Clients are requesting that a sound pop up with the button to join when therapist enters the telehealth appointment link because they report that the button out of sight.
There is no alert for the client when the therapist starts the session. This causes a lot of anxiety for clients and for therapists who don't know that both are waiting but the client does not know to join the session. Please fix this soon!!
When a patient has a Telehealth apt scheduled, they log in, follow the prompts, and it says "click Join My Session". Of course, this button doesn't appear until the therapist logs on. In the meantime, the patient (new patient) worries they have done something wrong because there is no Join My Session tab...
A simple addition of "The Join My Session tab will appear when your therapist logs on, please stand by" or something like that will help a new patient to relax a bit.
Please consider this small modification!
It would be nice to have a waiting room for telehealth appointments so you can see if a client has logged on and checked in before the clinician starting the session. It would be nice if it had a chat option so that you can let a client know if you are running late with another client.
It would be nice to have a waiting room created for telehealth that clients can wait in until therapist enters session. Also to have therapists have the option of manually allowing clients in session instead of them automatically entering, would be nice.
I would like to see a waiting room function in Telehealth. While in session with another client I would like to be notified when a client is in the waiting room and how long they have been waiting. I would like the option of being notified by text when someone logs in.
Please make a waiting room feature so that if the patient arrives late, the therapist does not need to wait with the video on till they arrive. Like in Zoom, Doxy, and other telehealth platforms, this feature would allow the therapist to add the patient to the room and prepare for them to enter.
Play a chime or show an indicator (e.g., a dot next to client's name on appointment) when a client has entered a waiting room, whether or not the clinician has entered.
Clients have noted being in the waiting room for a telehealth meeting and being unaware that the therapist has entered. Other programs automatically connect the client and therapist once the therapist signs in. That would be most helpful.
Create feature to notify the client that the therapist has not joined session while they are in the virtual waiting room. If they joined session before me they sometimes log off. With this feature they will know that I have not joined the session. The only feature that lets the client know the therapist is online is when the client sees the Join Session blue button.
There is no way for the patients to get on and be there if you are running behind. They just need to be able to already "be in the room" like they would be at the doctor's office and then we can join the session. Every other telehealth I have used has this feature. They don't have to push join twice. They just go in and it says your doctor will be with you shortly and then when the provider joins the session starts. It would decrease the patients frustration tremendously. Thanks for considering.
This would be great! I constantly get surprised when a client joins the session. Being able to "allow" them into the room would be a wonderful ease in.
I would like to be able to be in control of allowing clients to start the telehealth session. Sometimes when clients are late, I'll be doing other things in another tab, and the client finally logs on, but unexpectedly. Is there any way to "allow" them in, so that they must request to join the session?
