Why does the link only last for two hours despite be scheduling the assessment for three hours on the calendar? I conduct assessments for the court and it is very difficult when the assessment ends in the middle
Also the warning of 9 mintues needs to stay up because many times I am looking down writing and it leaves too quickly and then the session ends abruptly
Totally agree! We have virtual Intensive Outpatient clients that we must meet with for 3 hours for each session, we need the time limit for sessions increased because this is very disruptive to our sessions. Thank ou.
I am requesting for the 2 hour time limit for teletherapy to be removed. I offer 2 hour sessions regularly especially for couples and to be kicked out abruptly at the 2 hour mark during my wrap-up is very inconvenient. I would prefer to end the session manually myself when I finish my sessions instead of being restricted to the kinds of sessions I can offer online.
I have also considered offering online intensives, but this restriction would definitely limit that from being a possibility.
Telehealth sessions are currently capped at 2 hours and it is imperative that providers have the ability to conduct appointments which are longer than 2 hours without having to create a separate session to do so.
At this time, the longest telehealth session can only last 2 hours, after which time session is terminated. I can be performing evaluations for several hours (i.e., 6 hours). This means that I have to use another platform, which defeats the purpose of using TN in the first place, especially since my practice has transitioned to telehealth sessions. Please allow for an unlimited amount of time for a telehealth session, or cap it at 10 hours to allow for some flexibility. Thanks.
I often do lengthy and comprehensive initial intakes as well as specific types of treatments, intensive programming, and parent training and the time limit on these calls is not conducive to best practices for me. I propose not having a time limit on telehealth calls. I am concerned if I have a client in crisis that the call will shut off without warning which could pose a danger to my client and a liability for me. Clinicians should always have control over when the session ends. This time limit is very concerning.
