Allow more than 6 total participants in a Group Telehealth Session
Currently, one Telehealth session can only have up to 6 people including the staff member. I have some groups with larger members and need the ability to conduct telehealth sessions with those clients.

When scheduling weekly, recurring Telehealth groups, it allows for the CPT code, but it does not allow for Telehealth link. Therefore, on every progress note I have to manually change POS from 11 to 02 to avoid rejection. We have been using Telehealth for 3 years now, and this should have been corrected long ago. In addition, increasing group size from 5 (6 including the therapist) to 8-10 would be so much more appropriate. There has been a substantial increase in need for mental health and substance abuse services, many from remote locations, I would hope that TheraNest would be able to recognize and accommodate this basic need. I sincerely hope these ideas are considered as you upgrade the system.
Since the onset of the pandemic, more people have joined therapeutic groups via Telehealth. However, TN only allows 5 members, significantly impacting the ability to utilize our existing, paid software TheraNest. Consequently, many of us have turned to Zoom for groups. Given the extent of the need for therapeutic services, the ability to reach far more people geographically, and 2+ years into the distant appointment era, this feature NEEDS TO BE INCREASED!! Please!
It would be beneficial to have more then 6 members have the ability to join a group session. I keep my groups to 8 and under. I want to be able to streamline all of my work within my theranest account. I don't want to use another platform.
This is a critical area of need that should be addressed urgently - especially with so much therapy being provided online in the age of COVID.
I'd like to have the system accommodate 12 - 10 clients plus myself and co-facilitator.
With the cost of the group teletherapy option, providers should not have to look outside Theranest to meet this need.

I would love to be able to include more than 5 group member for telehealth group therapy. Personally, I would like to be able to have up to 8, but I could see up to 10 being useful for more psychoeducation based groups.

THIS!! We hold groups with a max of 16. 5 client's in a group does not come close to meeting our need. It would be EXTREMELY helpful if we could use this one platform for all of our needs instead of having to use other options, like Zoom, for our groups. Please integrate this feature in your groups. We recently subscribed and were told all about the possibility of groups, but never was there a mention of the limitations of the size of a group.
Just wondering if this is something that will be changed sooner than later. I don't want to have to switch platforms, but I'm the Community Treatment Provider for a VETS Court, and really need to be able to do bigger groups. :(
With COVID-19 going on, I am now only practicing through telehealth. As an addiction counselor, I do a lot of group work. The group feature has been wonderful on Theranest! I just wish I could have more than 5 people at a time in session.
Ditto the above. We also need telehealth to accommodate up to 10 people (though generally it is about 8), but 6 just isn't enough so we have an outside platform for telehealth. (more expensive and would be happy to switch if you can make the sessions hold more people.
I would like to have more participants than just 6 for Group Telehealth, so that I can run group therapy from this platform, rather than using a different provider
Most groups have far more than 5 with a minimum of 6, typical number 6-8, and certain modalities might have far more (e.g. a DBT multifamily group might have 20).
It would be great if the number of participants allowed in a telehealth group could be increased. Having to split up my 9 person group currently takes a toll on the the group dynamics we built before telehealth.

I have an opportunity to do group Telehealth sessions...but for more that 6 people...I believe that is all you are offering at the moment...i wanted to reach out to you before I try another platform...during Covid -19...we are allowed to use Google and zoom as well...you can have lots of people there...can you please let me know if you can increase the number seen for group therapy on theranest...thank you!
