It is of extreme importance that my clients are able to change/select a time zone when they are scheduling through their client portal calendar.
Our practice is virtual and we see clients in several states, but because our main location is in the pacific time zone, all of our client's calendars are showing up in this time zone as well, despite whether or not their demographic information is set for a different time zone.
It has caused tremendous amounts of frustration and confusion for both our clients and providers who reside in other time zones.
The time zones are set properly in our provider portals but the issue is in the client portal calendar.
I saw a similar post from last year (that is currently closed) and the response from Theranest on that post indicated that this issue had been fixed, however, it has not.
I also spoke with someone on the Theranest team directly about this feature and they confirmed that this is in fact not an option currently.
Please fix this for your providers who provide services in multiple states. I'm surprised this has not been changed already.
i am licensed in multiple states with multiple time zones. it would be so helpful for each client to have an individual setting for their time zone so their reminders and appointments are specific to them. i receive lots of follow-up contacts worrying that the appointment time is wrong because it's not in their time zone.
