Display client's time zone in appointment reminders

We service clients in other states and in different time zones than our organization. Include a time zone in appointment reminders because sometimes clients call confused because no time zone is displayed and they think there's been a scheduling mistake.

Locations can now have a time zone different from the organization's time zone.  Appointment reminders for the location will now send in the location time zone (set to the organization time zone by default).  Time zone codes (e.g., ET, CT, PT, etc.) can be added to your text and email reminder templates with the new {{LocationTimeZone}} placeholder.

I'm licensed in multiple states, and I plan to serve more states once the Counseling Compact is active in late 2023. My clients in various time zones are consistently confused by their reminder emails, and this issue will only become worse for Theranest users who serve clients around the US.

At this point, this is pretty much needs to be a requirement. I see clients across the country and globally now too. The appointment time zone needs to be established at scheduling and displayed throughout the workflow. A message like this is confusing. 4PM in what time zone? If all appointments are displayed to me in my time zone then say that! One line in the message is all you need. Side by side of appointment reminders that I receive for example.

Yes, please please please! Letting clients schedule online is a nightmare otherwise (and I am always writing everything out). I have been asking for this feature since I moved from Illinois to Florida in December 2021. Half my caseload is still from CST, and now I have patients in EST. I have another client on Mountain time (they moved). I have CE classes in October in Vegas (and none of it enters well or transfers easily into TheraNest). This is an area we definitely need to catch up on, fast! Sarah

I see clients across two time zones and they often get confused when scheduling because there's no indication on the calendar what time zone they are seeing available times for. It would be nice if clients saw their own time zones and it was synced to my CST zone.

This is becoming an increasing issue and leads to confusion. I know other platforms are able to provide this and while I love theranest and wish to remain with this platform it may soon be a "deal breaker". Please allow therapists and ct to set their time zones

I would like to suggest that if you cannot provide the time zone according to the client's location, that you at least list the time zone for which the appointment is designated. That way the client will at least know how to adjust for their time zone. I work in more than one time zone. Please make this change.

I appreciate being able to indicate my own time zone in the Organization tab, but for my clients in a different time zone this is causing confusion. Could we add a feature for each client to select their time zone on the client details page and then have appointments (especially telehealth sessions) automatically emailed to them/appear in the portal in their time zone? Thanks!!!

I agree with this, I have different offices in different timezones/states and want my client's appointment reminders to send to them with the correct time zone for where they live

Allowing the system to handle patients being in a different time zone than the clinic location so that appointment reminders and times fit the patient location. With the addition of teletherapy, not allowing an option to set the patient time zone is very cumbersome and limiting.
