Ignore required fields if saving (not signing) a client/case form

I'd like to suggest that forms can be saved to be worked on later. I had a potential client who has cancer and fatigue issues drop out because they got overwhelmed and discouraged by the fact that they could not complete forms in one sitting. This is an access to care and equity issue as I see it.

It would be very helpful to have a feature where the therapist can Save while working on a Dynamic form or an Intake form so they can come back to edit/complete the form later or if they get kicked off the system for whatever reason, their work won't be all lost. My idea is to be able to Save the forms but not actually finalize/sign them until all the "required" fields are completed. The "required" fields are preventing us from being able to Save the document prior to completing all the "required" fields. I need a way for the staff to save their work in case they get kicked out of the system due to various connection issues.
