TELEHEALTH SUBSCRIPTION:
We have a practice of 11 therapists and only 1 of them sees groups. I would love to be able to subscribe to group telehealth by provider. It's very expensive to subscribe 11 people when I only need 1. But, I am happy to pay for individual telehealth for all providers. Thank you.
Choose either individual or group subscription per staff member. Not all providers need group telehealth but some do. It's too costly to do the group subscription for all providers, especially when it's not needed for the majority.
Most, if not all,, of us who own private practice groups would prefer a change in how using the telehealth group is billed.
Presently, if only 1 staff member is utilizing groups, we are forced to pay for that service for all staff. All or none.
Please consider charging a smaller fee per provider to allow more groups to utilize this service fairly. When providers are pushed to use zoom, they are even more frustrated with TheraNest. And Customer retention is good business, right?!
Thank You!
We want to use the system as it's intended instead of needing to utilize another service to provide couples appointments on telehealth. We only have a handful of therapists who provide couples like many of the other comments.
We only have a few clinicians who need group telehealth, so we won't change over the entire practice. That means these few clinicians are spending money with your competitors to get the telehealth service they need. If you allow us to select individual or group telehealth by clinician, you'll make more money in the long run.
As proven by the comments here since at least 2020 the telehealth subscription model in Theranest will not work for most group practices with group practices usually offering a wide array of services to clients. Fixing this I believe would not only result in a better product and more satisfied users but increased revenue for Theranest LLC. Please fix this.
Of our 15 therapists, only 1 or 2 need to have access to the group function (usually for couples or families) and it is not cost effective to have to upgrade everybody when they will not use it. Instead, we just have to refer those clients out or switch to another platform.
Hello, this is Joyce with LaHue Counseling. We have 7 therapists and I am the only one that provides group therapy, in order for me to use your telehealth system all are Therapist would have to pay the $25 a month. I wonder if you would consider changes this. Maybe have some kind security that we could share our access?
I have several therapists that work in my practice. Most see individual patients for the most part. I also have an LMFT in my practice who also sees couples and needs to see multiple people at the same time, sometimes in different locations.
The way things are set up now, I have to upgrade ALL of the therapists in the practice to the group telehealth plan in order to just get the lone therapist who needs this option the ability to see more than one person during a therapy slot.
I don't understand why you can't have different options for different therapists depending on what their needs are for practicing.
I know have to pay $75 a month for telehealth options that only one therapist needs at this point. That seems like a lot and if this doesn't become more flexible in the near future, switching to a different telehealth platform would be something I would have to consider.
With the changes in billing for telehealth taking place, you really need to allow us to select which users need group telehealth and which users only need individual telehealth. (as well as which users will be 'power users' and which will not. We should not be billed for what we do not use.
We are having the same issue. We totally agree with this comment and need TheraNest come up with a solution. We only have one therapist conducting groups right now and it makes no sense to have to choose that plan for All therapist. They are not engaged in groups. Please consider changing this so that it can be cost effective and meet agency needs.
There should not just be one option for the Telehealth provider. An agency's to choose ALL to have either individual plan or all group plan for all the therapist within the agency. All therapist do not conduct groups. An agency should be able to place specific providers (therapist) that are conducting groups under group plan option and providers (therapist) servicing individual under the individual plan. Please consider changing this. It is too costly when some therapist aren't conducting groups. Thank you for your consideration.
Yes I completely agree with this. We only have 1 therapist out of 15 who would need this feature for one weekly couples session only and should not have to double our cost to make this possible.
Need to have ability for select providers not the entire practice to have option of either doing individual or group TMH otherwise I cannot see a couple via TMH. They work different schedules and one will use their lunch hour to have session. Cannot provide this service to them because it will be too costly for the practice. Make it so individual therapists can exercise the option.
We currently have 14 therapists using telehealth and one of those therapists would like to use group telehealth sessions. There is not a way to only pay the additional $10 for the one therapist. We would have to instead switch all therapists to the $20 option, doubling our cost.
Please make it so we can choose between each provider whether they have the $10 or $20 telehealth plan.
Our clinic has trainees who would like to be able to "sit in" telehealth sessions. It would be very helpful to be able to add multiple clinicians to a single session (without having to add group telehealth for ALL clinicians) or even to be able to select individual or group telethealth by clinician, rather than all-or-none.
This would also apply to trainee-led sessions in which a supervisor attends.
It would be helpful if therapists could subscribe to telehealth individually OR group as opposed to all the same. At this time we have 6 therapists who subscribe to telehealth but only 1 of them needs the group subscription. When I inquired, Theranest said everyone has to subscribed to one or the other. That's an additional $50/month to pay for a service (group telehealth) that will not be used. Thanks for your time! Be safe, Jill
